One of the worst parts of getting a loan, whether it was our home loan or a credit card (yes that is a loan!) was trying to decide who was the best person to go with.
At the end of the day, the service is not that vastly different (unless you go with “non-conforming” lenders, if which can they are literally loan sharks - the worst by a mile being Peppers). So, it comes down to availability and price.

The above comparison site is a free one. Hence the inclusion here. I guess we are lucky that we are comfortable online, because I can’t and dont even want to imagine how frustrating and demoralizing it would be to have to ring each of these banks and find out their packages and interest rates, all the while trying to fend off the inevitable sales job they do on you when you go into the branch, trying to up-sell and cross-sell the heck out of you with life insurance, income insurance, and anything else they can think of.
I much prefer to sit back and work it out myself.
